This issue includes two photos of Tom Petersson with the Hamer Quad 12-string bass. The giant guitar in the background is in a showcase at the Record Plant, a recording studio in New York City. The Record Plant also had studios in Los Angeles, California, which is where Cheap Trick recorded their Dream Police and Found All The Parts albums.

An advertisement for rock star posters on page 13 includes the Cheap Trick ‘metropolitan’ poster that includes the Hamer Quad 12-string bass. These large posters could be purchased for $3.00 including postage - ah, the good old days….
