Musicvox built this unique Yellow Space Cadet 12-string bass for Allen Woody in 1999. Woody played this bass on the Blue Floyd Live in Detroit album. This concert was recorded live at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit, Michigan on February 15, 2000. Woody played an 8-minute long bass solo to start the song ‘Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun’ on this Yellow Space Cadet 12-string bass. This solo is considered by some to be the greatest 12-string bass solo ever recorded.
The serial number sticker dates this bass to 1999.
