Ongaku Senka, translated as “specialized course in music”, was in operation from 1967 to 1987. It specialized in publishing photos of American and British rock bands. This issue includes several photos of the Hamer prototype 10-string bass.

This issue includes several photos of the Hamer Quad 12-string bass. In a sidebar Tom Petersson explains how he plays three strings at once. There is also an ad for the Cheap Trick fan magazine Cheap Sweets that includes a drawing of the Hamer Quad 12-string bass on the front cover.
