Hamer Catalogs - General Information

Hamer Guitars offered 12-string basses from 1978 through 2012, when they went out of business. The Hamer catalogs primarily pictured the B12A and B12L models, with later versions also including the CH-12 as well as some the endorsing artists who played Hamer 12’s.

The first 12-string bass to be included in a catalog appeared in 1978 with the inclusion of a photo of the first Quad bass, but there was no description of that bass included. 12’s continued to be pictured through the 2009 catalog. Please note that images from these catalogs have in some cases been edited to primarily include only the 12-string bass photos.

The price lists are more numerous as prices tended to change annually whereas the bass models were stable throughout the life of the company.
