To get his thick bass tones, Wojtek told us, “In the studio I duplicate the main signal. As a result, one path produces a "dry" low signal and the other a "wet"signal for the mids and highs. The low signal is clean and compressed, while the wet signal is distorted. For the lows I use an Ampeg SVT 2 Pro, and a Mesa Boogie Studio preamp for the distortion. Also, in the studio I record extra low tracks using an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro.”
