Radio Free Rock - The Midwest Music Monthly

Radio Free Rock was a free monthly music newspaper published in Indianapolis, Indiana. First appearing in late 1976, it ran until at least mid 1979. 10,000 copies of each issue were printed.

An interview with Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick is included in the August, 1978 issue (Vol. 2, No. 11). The 12-string bass is mentioned, and a photo of Tom Petersson with the Hamer Quad 12 with a senbazuru hanging from the headstock is included. Petersson discovered the senbazuru while in Japan and hung it on his bass for the shows at the Budokan, but by mid 1978 it had fallen apart.
