Jeff Ament is shown with his Hamer “Ament” B12A 12-string bass, plus the book includes the sheet music for the song ‘Jeremy’, considered by many bassists to be the ultimate 12-string bass riff.
The sheet music book for Cheap Trick’s At Budokan album includes a full page photo of the Hamer B12A 12-string bass, which wasn’t actually played on that tour. It was used in a later concert tour which was recorded and released as ‘Budokan II’.
Songbook from Toshiba EMI Music in Japan used the cover art from Heaven Tonight but includes songs from a variety of different Cheap Trick albums. Photos of the Hamer prototype 10-string bass and Quad 12-string bass are included.
Toshiba EMI Music from Japan published four sheet music books of Cheap Trick’s songs. Various 12-string basses are shown either on the covers or are included in these books.

Cheap Trick - 5 of the Best
This sheet music book published in Australia in the 1980’s doesn’t picture or mention the 12-string bass, but there are places where the bass line is shown as being played in octaves. It seems that the transcriber realized that octaves were being played on the bass without recognizing the nature of the instrument.

Blank Sheet Music Book
This 100-page blank sheet music book was published in June, 2024 by Ian Edmundson in the UK. It measures 8½” by 11” and features Ian’s Hamer B12S 12-string bass on the front cover.
