Good Times - The Music & Entertainment Paper

Good Times Music & Entertainment Paper advertises itself as “Americas oldest regional entertainment paper founded in 1969!” It is published bi-weekly in Long Island, New York, and focuses primarily on events on Long Island and the New York City region. At one time there were also editions published for the Miami, Florida and Columbus, Ohio areas.

The June 19 - July 2, 1979 edition (Issue No. 226) includes Cheap Trick on the cover and a two-page article about the band. There is one small photo of the Hamer Quad 12-string bass, and the 12 is mentioned: “…Petersson smiled at the audience from under his shaggy brown hair while playing one of the most incredible - not to mention one of the very few - 12-string basses around.”
