The One On Four Cheap Trick fanzine appeared in the summer of 1997 and lasted only a couple of years. It was published quarterly. The managing editor of the fanzine was Mike Casale, who was Cheap Trick’s art director. The fanzine is a similar size to the Cheap Trickzine fan magazine, 8½” high by 5¼” wide, but is much more professionally done.

“It was like trying to talk poetry with a rabbit.” - Tom Petersson

The Spring ‘98 issue, Vol. 1 #4, includes a number of photos from Trickfest 2 showing Tom Petersson and one of his Chandler Royale 12-string basses. Petersson’s merchandise line was well received, with one exception: “I just don’t see where the Devotional Candle fits in, though.”

Cheap Jack - Japanese Fan Magazine

The Cheap Jack fanzine was published by the Cheap Trick Fan Club in Japan. It first appeared in mid-1978 and was published for just one year with a total of 22 issues printed. Several drawings of Tom Petersson and his Hamer Quad 12-string bass are included in various issues, two of which include the 12-string bass on the front cover.
