Classic Rock and Metal Hammer magazines came under the same ownership of Team Rock in 2013, then were sold to Future in 2016. Occasionally special issues referred to by the published as “bookazines” are released that include the names of both magazines.

This issue is identified as the Third Edition and includes bands from the 1990’s. One photo of Pearl Jam includes Jeff Ament playing his Hamer “Ament” 12-string bass live in Seattle in 1991.
