Metal Union was a heavy metal music fan magazine published sporadically by Andrew Parrish from Louisville, Ohio. In addition to publishing, Parrish played in his heavy metal band, Halomachine.

In his interview, King’s X bassist Doug Pinnick relates how he demonstrated his 12-string bass playing techniques to Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament, which led to Ament writing the song “Jeremy”.
