The picture is an actual page taken from the book Guitars of the Stars – Volume 1 by Bill Rich and features the guitars in the Rick Nielsen collection. Nielsen has been collecting guitars for many decades and owns some of the rarest and most desirable guitars in the world.

The photos of the guitars were taken by photographer Stephen Pitkin of Pitkin Studio in Illinois, who has shot guitars for Fender, Hamer and many other guitar companies. Some guitars include a projection of related images behind them; these background images provide a truly stunning backdrop for the instruments being displayed and is a technique perfected by Pitkin.
