Shine 12-String Bass

The Shine 12-string bass was made by the Saein Musical Instruments Company of Inchon, South Korea. Saein has factories in both Korea and China and between the two factories employs over 400 workers. Since 1991 they have produced and continue to make instruments for many leading companies such as Ibanez, Peavey, B.C. Rich, the Gibson Epiphone line and many others.

Saein launched their own Shine house brand in 1997, with the 12-string bass being introduced into the product line in 2006. It is part of their Professional Series - Elite SP bass collection. In early 2008 the 12-string bass was discontinued and disappeared from the online catalog.
