Popcorn is a monthly music and entertainment magazine that has been published in Munich, Germany since its launch in 1977. It is still in print as of late 2020 and is published in a variety of different countries and languages. The magazine has an idiosyncrasy in that none of the pages are numbered.

This issue includes a reversed photo of Cheap Trick, with Tom Petersson playing the Hamer Quad 12-string bass. There is also a photo of him playing his Alembic 8-string bass.

This issue also includes a photo of Tom Petersson’s future wife Dagmar. She is shown with her long-time ex-boyfriend Jürgen Drews, who at that time was Germany’s most famous singer. The article states that Dagmar is now living in the United States with the bassist for the band “Shiptrack”. I guess in journalism “Shiptrack” is the same as “Cheap Trick”, eh?
