music life magazine - Cheap Trick Special

This issue of Music Life Magazine is devoted exclusively to Cheap Trick. It is packed with color and black & white photos, 17 of which show Hamer 10-string or 12-string basses. It was intended to capitalize on the popularity of the band in Japan and their concerts at the Budokan in Tokyo.

This book is largely a compilation of photos and information from Music Life magazines published in 1978 and 1979 which pictured Cheap Trick on the cover along with the Cheap Trick special edition, plus updated new photos through the band’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and a complete discography. Tom Petersson is pictured playing Hamer, Chandler and Gretsch 12-string basses. About 10% of the book is devoted to bands other than Cheap Trick.
