1991 White Hamer B12A 12-string bass built for Johnny Colt of The Black Crowes.

This Hamer B12A was built for bassist Johnny Colt when he was playing with The Black Crowes. We have not seen any photos of him playing this bass onstage. It has been reported that this bass was loaned to Marcy Playground bassist Dylan Keefe for use on some of that band’s recordings.

The fretboard inlays on the ebony fingerboard are shell casings for .45 caliber Colt bullets.

Colt’s name is inscribed on the headstock.
