"Tom Petersson Model" B12A

Ron Johnson sent in these excellent photos of his 1986 Hamer 12-string bass. This bass has a number of differences from the standard B12A. These changes were made for Tom Petersson. No specific model name was given to this B12A variant so it has been referred to simply as the Tom Petersson model. It is long scale with a single truss rod. Very few 12-string basses were made in this configuration.

The neck, "sound hole", pickups, bridge and tailpiece are set far forward compared to a standard B12A.

The headstock is thinner and a more streamlined shape.

The body is also thinner and more streamlined.

Basic electronics.
